Mission: Maintain the administrative machinery of the Council

Major focus group: Internal Council officers and staff

The secretary function, while not constituted as a formal committee, would benefit from the active participation of several supporting members. Among the responsibilities held by the Secretary are: taking minutes at meetings; issuing draft minutes; producing the quarterly newsletter; drafting, tracking and mailing official correspondence; and conducting bulk mailings as required. This function attracts people who are good with typing and composition skills, and who are good at file organization and maintenance.
